Thought for the day: Minced Words

Are you careful not to swear at all?  Or are you guilty of Minced swearing?  We have a bad word jar at our house and every time someone says a form of slang or even worse....a quarter goes in the jar.  It is soo easy to do, especially when you are working with or going to school with people who use bad language......and soo much of our slang is bad language.  Scripture warns against swearing in anyway, form, shape or fashion.  Ask the Lord to help you be a better testimony by using only language that will honor him.

"Do not swear  -  not by heaven or by earth or by anything else."

James 5:12
